Darkroom Introduction Course (2 hours)
Curious about film photography and the magic of the darkroom? This friendly two-hour introduction will give you all the basics you need to get started with confidence. During the session, you’ll learn:
How to set up and use the darkroom space
How to work with the enlarger
How to develop, fix, and dry your prints
Essential health & safety guidelines
✨ Once you’ve completed this session, you’ll be able to book Open Access and enjoy using the darkroom independently as often as you like.
After purchasing your Darkroom Introduction Course, we’ll be in touch to arrange a date and time that works best for you. The course is designed for 1–2 people, open to all ages and experience levels. Beginners are especially welcome! (Please note: under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)
🌱 Chemicals & paper:
Chemicals are not included, but we provide sustainable, eco-friendly options (plant-based developer and sea water fixer) which you’re welcome to use.
You may also bring your own chemicals, as long as you handle and dispose of them safely.
We have some donated papers available, but for best results we recommend bringing your own.
